This blog was set up by family and friends of Ethan and Lauren to help support their family through prayer and to hopefully relieve some of the financial burden that Ethan and Lauren have had to endure through this trying time. If you would like, you can donate through the button on the right and your donation will go directly into a bank account set up in their names, or you can visit any Metropolitan Bank in Arkansas and donate funds through an account set up in the name of Cynthia Sieber (Ethans's sister) We have also linked the website to a Facebook page we have set up to hopefully spread the word and have as many people praying for our little man as possible.

Ty Update 3/7/11

Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’”

3-7-11 The weekend at "The McCullar" house was a great one! With the help of famliy members and Laura, one of their night nurses, Lauren and Ethan were able to experience something that hasn't happened very often in the last 18 months.... a sense of normalcy. Ty, for the most part felt good. Only once did he get nauseated. With the help of Zophan and the rocking of his Honey, he was fast asleep and took a good nap.

Today was "Lab Work" day with really good results!! Ty's WBC-7370, HG-10, Platelets-226,000 and his ANC 5601. Ethan and Lauren were very pleased as this next weekend is a BIG one for their Littleman. Ty will be admitted to Childrens on Thursday morning for Nuclear Medicine to administer a specific drug needed to be in his system for 24 hours prior to his MIBG Scan on Friday. He will have a CT Scan to check the spinal chord involvement. A MRI will be necessary if the doctors cannot see what they need to see. On Friday night Ty will have Chemotherapy Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.

Ty Update 3/6/11

Good Sunday morning! Ty has had a great weekend and felt pretty good with just aliitle down-time yesterday. I was able to spend the day with Littleman as Ethan had to work and Lauren went to judge a "Crowns For Cancer" Fundraiser set up in honor of Ty. Lauren said the pageant was a success and she wished everyone could have won! Lauren and Ethan so appreciate all the efforts to help defray some of the cost to care for their baby. We all have busy lives the fact so many people, family and friends have made and continue to make time for them is awesome! Be blessed today as they are because of you!

Ty Update 3/3/11

Today my sweet little grandson had an Echo of his heart followed by an IVIG Infusion. The Echo was to make sure the Chemo was not affecting his heart in anyway and as it turns out....All is well with Littleman's heart!! YEA! The IVIG Infusion took about 4 hours and it is to help boost his immunity. As I travel to Littlerock this afternoon for the weekend, my prayer will be our baby feels good and has a great weekend! Lauren and Ethan have a Friday night nurse, but not one for Saturday night. It is very difficult for them to maintain their jobs, their own health and manage to care for Littleman sleep deprived. With that being said:
Specific Prayers for Nurses!! Lots of Nurses!
That Lauren and Ethan rest this weekend as to be able to perform at top levels in their jobs.
Safe travels as I travel to and from Littlerock.
Much love to all of you~Debra aka Honey

Ty Update 3/2/11

Ty's labs this morning came back good! WBC - 8000, HGB - 11, Platelets - 63000, and ANC was 5200. Lauren and Ethan were happy with these results!

Ty Update 3/2/11

Ty had a good day today! He had physical therapy this am & a Synegis shot this pm to help protect him from RSV. We draw labs tomorrow am (please pray everything is good!!!) then Friday we go for an ECHO (to check out his heart & make sure it hasn't been affected by the chemo) & another IVIG infusion (to assist his immune system). We are so thankful for all of you and your prayers! Keep them coming! :)
